Someone familiar with apartment living might recognize the universal rush of a man who'd left something to dry just as the sky really opened up. Even if things had gone as planned, that poor comforter would have been soaked.

Things didn't go as planned, though. There was a clatter and the sound of cloth tearing, and if Tim made his way over to investigate, he'd find that maybe his boyfriend hadn't quite gotten off so easy after all, as below the waist his body seemed to have been replaced by a collection of spotted octopus tentacles. Cream and brown, sprawling in all directions as Majima maintained a death grip on the railing and the soaked blanket with one hand, just kind of staring into the middle distance. ]
